Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Is a UK game show created by David Briggs, Mike Whitehill and Steven Knight and hosted by presenter Chris Tarrant. The show, which first aired in 1998 and still runs to this day, offers a prize scale that culminates in a first prize of £1,000,000 for answering a series of general knowledge questions. The show has been a monumental success and is now aired all over the world.

Wagerworks have jumped on the success of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? by creating five-reel, 20-payline video slot machines of the same name which you can play at Maria. The game comes equipped with scatter and wild symbols, but is lacking the £1,000,000 jackpot that you have conjured up in your mind.

As you would expect, both the sound and the graphics are lifted straight from the TV production and you almost feel like Tarrant is sat there with you, as you furiously spin those reels. The symbols on the reels include pound signs, pictures of the audience, the hot seat itself and a phone a friend symbol to name just a few.

The game also houses a Jackpot Ladder bonus game, which is activated when three to five Jackpot Ladder symbols appear on the reels. The Jackpot Ladder is a classic skill stop feature from the good old chip shop days and you get three chances to stop the flashing icon on a cash prize. Game shows are always great candidates for slot machines and Who Wants to be a Millionaire? does the genre proud.
